These terms and conditions apply to the subscription you have purchased from DoubleCheq Health Limited (“DoubleCheq”) to DoubleCheq’s digital health consulting and coaching platform (”the DoubleCheq app”) including all services associated with your subscription. By using DoubleCheq’s services, you accept these terms as well as our privacy policy and agree to be bound by them.
Product and Services Information
DoubleCheq provides digital behaviour change programmes that consists of personal digital consulting and coaching, a tailored lifestyle plan, group support possibilities and evidence-based curriculums to support your lifestyle changes.
When starting the DoubleCheq programme you will gain access to the DoubleCheq app and be connected with your personal health advisor through a video consultation to set up your personal lifestyle plan and goals.
Hereafter you will use the DoubleCheq app to track against your personal goals and send comments or questions to your personal coach for your next digital coaching. After the first video consultation, “digital coaching” will entail your DoubleCheq health advisor reviewing your messages and progress on a weekly basis and respond to you with feedback, questions and guidance in the form of video and/or text messages and education material.
Subscription Information
Binding Subscription
When purchasing a binding subscription from DoubleCheq you are agreeing to enter into a fixed period agreement for the period indicated to you at the time you made the purchase. At the end of the fixed period subscription, you will automatically transition to a monthly subscription until such time as you terminate it.
The amounts payable in respect of the binding subscription, its duration and the subsequent monthly subscription were communicated to you at time that you made your purchase.
Monthly Subscription
When purchasing a monthly subscription from DoubleCheq you are entering into a month-to-month agreement that will be automatically renewed on monthly basis until such time as you terminate it.

PurchasePurchase of subscription
Subscriptions are paid for prior to the period included in the subscription period.
When you sign up for a subscription agreement or change an existing subscription agreement, we send a receipt to the cardholder to the email associated with your user profile.
Termination of subscription
• Binding subscription: You can cancel your binding subscription at any time and without justification, but you will not be entitled to a refund and you will remain liable for payment for the remaining period. You will continue to have access to the DoubleCheq health advisor and the subscription services you have purchased until the end of the current subscription period.
• Monthly subscription: you can cancel your monthly subscription at any time and without justification, but you will not receive a refund for the current billing period. You will continue to have access to the DoubleCheq health advisor and subscription services you have purchased until the end of the current subscription period.

In the event of abuse, DoubleCheq reserves the right to terminate your subscription without justification.
Payment dates
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to pay the applicable monthly subscription fee until the subscription is terminated. Subscription fees will be automatically deducted from your nominated banking account.
The first subscription fee will be deducted on the date of your initial video consultation with your health advisor. This date will be the ongoing payment date of all subsequent subscription payments.

We use Stripe for our subscription payment solution.
Prices and Payment
PricesAll prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT. We accept the following payment methods: Visa and MasterCard (or any other method authorised via Stripe).
Subscription payment
If the subscription is not paid on time, DoubleCheq is entitled to block access to the service. Access to the service is reopened after payment has been received, unless DoubleCheq has previously cancelled the subscription.
If your card expires or is rejected, we will send you at least two reminders before closing your subscription. You can contact DoubleCheq at
[email protected] for assistance in changing your card payment details.
Right of Withdrawal
After payment, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. You can only exercise your right of withdrawal prior to your initial video consultation and by contacting DoubleCheq at
[email protected]. The right of withdrawal lapses after you have had your initial video consultation with your health advisor. By your acceptance of these terms and conditions, including making payment using a payment card, you will be deemed to have given your express consent to waive the right of withdrawal after the initial video consultation has been performed.
Change in Prices and Trading Conditions
DoubleCheq may from time to time change subscriptions and prices. However, price changes or subscription changes will apply no earlier than 30 days after you have been notified.
DoubleCheq may also make additions or changes to these terms. You are bound by the terms and conditions that apply at the time you purchase a subscription, unless DoubleCheq notifies you of changes in the terms and conditions. However, the changes apply at the earliest after 30 days from the time that you have been informed of the changes.
Limitation of Liability
DoubleCheq reserves the right to make unintentional printing and price errors.
DoubleCheq is not responsible for breakdown of or failing access to its website or the DoubleCheq app, or for breakdown of power supply or internet connection, vandalism of the system (both physical as well as computer virus and hacking), misuse of personal information or other conditions and circumstances that are beyond DoubleCheq’s control.
User Consent and Responsibility
When purchasing a subscription from DoubleCheq, you give your consent for DoubleCheq to collect and process your personal data in connection with the subscription services you will receive, and in accordance with DoubleCheq’s privacy policy.
It is your responsibility to provide correct and relevant information to your
health advisor and to enter correct and relevant information in the DoubleCheq app.

Nothing contained on the DoubleCheq website, in the DoubleCheq app or the consultation and coaching services we provide should be construed as medical advice, treatment or diagnosis. Your use of the DoubleCheq website, app, and the consulting and coaching services is not a substitute for physician consultation, evaluation, or treatment. You are urged and advised to seek the advice of a physician before using DoubleCheq’s services. You represent that you are in good enough health to begin using DoubleCheq’s services, which may result in changes to your diet and/or physical activity, and/or other lifestyle related behaviours.
Individuals with chronic diseases or health problems are specifically warned to seek professional medical advice prior to initiating any form of lifestyle changing effort. If you have been diagnosed with a chronic disease or other health condition, you represent that you have obtained approval from your health care provider to receive DoubleCheq’s services before using them and that you will be actively supervised by your health care provider while utilising DoubleCheq’s services. You acknowledge and understand that results may vary, and that despite your efforts or that of DoubleCheq’s coaches, DoubleCheq cannot guarantee that you will achieve your lifestyle-related goals.
DoubleCheq can only be held liable for the nominal value of the services offered.

Processing of Personal Information
DoubleCheq only collects and uses personal data that is necessary to provide our services. In this paragraph we have outlined the specific purposes we collect and use your personal information for.
In connection with the purchase of your subscription, DoubleCheq utilises the services of Stripe for our subscription payment solution. For the purposes of processing your personal data for subscription payments, DoubleCheq is the data controller of this data, and Stripe is the data processor. In connection with the use of the DoubleCheq app, all personal data that you submit is recorded. This information includes:

• All information you voluntarily provide inside the DoubleCheq app

• Arrange contact with your personal health advisor
• Help you lead a healthy life
• Maintain and develop the DoubleCheq app
We can also retrieve information from Apple HealthKit, Google Fit and other connected wearables and devices whenever you explicitly authorise the app to do so. In the app, you can enable/disable this permission at any time.
Your information is stored by DoubleCheq in a closed database from the moment you register and for a period of seven years.
DoubleCheq is a company under the supervision of healthcare professionals, and stores your information and personal data confidentially in accordance with applicable legislation. DoubleCheq gives your health advisor access to your personal information, so they can give you the support and guidance you need.
No data will be disclosed to any external third parties without your express permission.
To ensure that DoubleCheq matches your needs, we would like to be able to contact you via text message, email, telephone, or push messages as you use the DoubleCheq app.
Our collection and use of your personal data, as well as your rights in connection with the personal data we store and process on your behalf and how to exercise these rights, are described in further detail in our Privacy Policy.
Technical Requirements for the Customer's Mobile Equipment
In order for the DoubleCheq app to work on your mobile device, you must ensure that your Apple device is operating on iOS version 10 or higher, or that your Android device is operating on version 5 or higher.
