Hello, I'm
Dr Richard Williams, a Health Consultant with a specialist interest in stress and stress-related health problems. I work as a full-time clinician and part-time researcher. I have more than 20 years clinical experience, including within the NHS, in private practice, and at the University of Oxford. I'm passionate about promoting and supporting self-care for people to improve their physical and psychological health.

Qualifications
I have post-graduate qualifications from several UK universities - including Bristol, Birmingham, and Oxford - in behavioural medicine, stress reduction, cardiovascular disease management, and patient assessment. I've also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which I've used in my clinical practice for more than 15 years. I have extensive clinical experience in all my specialties, engage in regular continuing professional development (CPD), and possess full professional indemnity insurance.
